Do you accept international orders?

If you are located overseas and wish to send a gift to a child in Australia, we would love to help. Our online checkout system accepts international Visa and MasterCard's, PayPal is also offered as a payment method.

All prices quoted on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are GST inclusive.

Our delivery charge is a flat $9.95 AUD to any address in Australia. Orders with a goods value of $149.00 AUD or more ship free.

We regret that, due to the risks and costs associated with international freight, we do not ship outside of Australia.

If you received a wrong item or a faulty product, please accept our apologies for our error. Please get in touch with us via email at sendatoy@optusnet.com.au as soon as possible so that we can assist you.

Please examine your order upon receipt and notify us of any problems or faults within 30-days of purchase to be eligible for a replacement or refund.

As per our store policy, returning faulty items (at our expense) is necessary for a replacement or refund.

Can I use multiple discount codes?

No. You can use only one discount code per order.

You can, however, still receive free shipping when using a discount code if your order total is over our free-shipping threshold after applying the discount code.

Gifting

Can I send a toy direct to someone as a gift?

Yes! You can add gift wrap and a gift message via each product page and we'll ship directly to the recipient. When you send a gift with Send a Toy, you can relax knowing that receipts and will not be included.

Can I include a gift message?

Yes. Gift messages can be added to your order (free of charge) via each product page. Your message will be printed on a gift packing slip and included with the parcel.

Alternatively, we offer a range of gift cards that can be purchased.

Do you have gift recommendations?

Can I include a gift receipt?

Yes, we automatically include a gift receipt without pricing when the billing and shipping details are different on an order.

Lodgment receipts can be requested when lodging your Reply-Paid parcel at the post office).

Return shipping costs

You will be responsible for paying all shipping costs in relation to the return (unless the item is being returned due to a fault, defect or stock picking error). 

(For items that are being returned using our Reply-Paid Return address due to a fault or our error, you must obtain a parcel lodgment receipt (proof of postage) to be eligible for a refund in the event the parcel is lost in transit. Lodgment receipts can be requested when lodging your Reply-Paid Return parcel at the post office).

Sale item returns


Only full priced items can be returned.

Items purchased while on sale or clearance cannot be returned unless they are faulty or not as described.

Faulty sale items cannot be returned where the fault was clearly identified in the product description at the time of your purchase and was the reason for the price reduction.

For a faulty item return (and it will need to be returned) please contact us as soon as possible to obtain our free postage return address.

We will require satisfactory proof of purchase before providing a faulty item remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.

The returned item will be inspected. Once it has been confirmed as faulty, we will issue a suitable form of redress (repair, replacement or refund), in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

If the fault presented is deemed to be a non-manufacturing fault (i.e. due to accidental damage, abnormal use, incorrect use or misuse by you) then we are unable to offer you a repair, replacement, credit or refund. In this instance you will be responsible for postage charges if you would like us to return the item to you.

Faulty sale item returns

Faulty sale items cannot be returned where the fault was clearly identified in the product description at the time of your purchase and was the reason for the price reduction.

Where a faulty item is damaged through misuse, abnormal use or accidental damage caused by you, Send A Toy will not provide a refund, exchange, credit or repair.

Incorrect item returns


We make every effort to ensure that correct items are shipped to you, however, occasionally a stock picking error or website product description error may occur. If you receive an incorrect product, please contact us as soon as possible to initiate the product exchange process.

Where an incorrect product has been supplied, Send A Toy will be responsible for the return postage charges (you will be issued with a postage paid address) and subsequent postage charges to supply the correct item.

What is your gift return policy?

Products received as a gift can be returned for a store credit (not a refund) within 30-days of receipt.

To be eligible for a store credit the product must be in its original purchase condition i.e. unopened, unused, with tags still attached, and packaging in its original condition.

If the gift was purchased while on final SALE it cannot be returned, refunded, exchanged or credited.

Shipping

How much is shipping?

  • Orders with a goods total above $149.00 AUD receive free Australia-wide shipping.
  • $9.95 AUD applies to all other orders.
  • Express shipping is available for a flat rate of $15.95 AUD up to 4kg. For orders over 4kg an express shipping rate can be calculated in checkout.

All shipping rates include signature on delivery and parcel transit insurance.

Can I pick up my order?

Sorry, no. Send A Toy is an e-commerce business and we do not provide a local pick up or click and collect service at this time.

Do you ship internationally?

We do not ship outside of Australia.

We do accept international orders for delivery within Australia.

How can I track my order?

Once your order leaves Send A Toy you will be sent a tracking link via email and/or text message. You will also be sent a link to the tracking website.

Do you offer express shipping?

Yes! Express shipping can be selected in checkout. The cost is a flat $15.95 AUD for parcels up to 4kg.

For heavier parcels an express shipping rate can be calculated in checkout.

How do I place and express shipping order?

Please proceed through normal checkout on our website. When our 'Shipping Method' options are displayed, select Express Post.

(If EXPRESS is not displayed as a shipping option, this indicates that your order exceeds the maximum weight permitted for our express service).

Which shipping carrier do you use?

We ship all parcels via the Australia Posts E-Parcel system.

Delivery

Can you deliver to a PO Box?

Yes. We can ship to any postal address in Australia, including Post Office (PO) Boxes.

Can you / do you deliver on weekends?

Typically, our parcels are not delivered on weekends and a weekend delivery cannot be requested.

During peak periods such as Christmas Australia Post may deliver on weekends in some metro areas.

What if I am not home at the time of delivery?

Your parcel will be taken to your local post agent for safe keeping and collection, unless you applied an ATL (Authority to Leave).

Gift wrapping

How much does gift wrapping cost?

Our gift-wrapping service is provided free of charge. Optional greeting cards can be purchased when applying gift wrap to your order,

What does your gift wrap look like?

Complimentary gift wrapping is available on all products except clearance items and certain large or awkward shapes.

Greeting cards

Gift messages added to your order will be printed on a gift packing slip and included with the parcel. Alternatively, you can buy a gift tag or card (via each product pages after selecting the gift wrap option).

Are the Jellycat toys you sell authentic?

Yes. Send A Toy is an authorised retailer of Jellycat plush toys in Australia, having been one of the first Australian businesses to retail Jellycat online. All Jellycat products sold by us are 100% genuine.

How are Jellycat toys measured?

The height of a Jellycat Is usually measured by laying it flat and measuring from the top of the head to the bottom of the feet (ears excluded). Width is measured across the widest part of the body. For sitting height, measure from the top of the head (excluding ears) to the base of the Soft toy. Tails are usually (but not always) excluded from measurements.
