REFUND POLICY

Our Commitment

At Send A Toy, we want you to be happy with every purchase. We stand behind the quality of our children’s toys and gifts.

Change of Mind Returns

  • Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery for unopened items in original packaging
  • Item must be in resaleable condition with all tags attached
  • Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty
  • Refunds processed within 3 - 7 business days of receiving the returned item
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable

Please Note:  Gift cards, gift vouchers, and items purchased on final sale or clearance are not eligible for return unless faulty.

Gift Returns

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased, we will issue you a store credit for the value of your returned gift, within 7 business days of receiving the returned item.

Proof of purchase

We require proof of purchase for a return. If you need assistance locating your purchase or gift purchase details, please contact Send A Toy customer service.

Faulty or Damaged Items

Under Australian Consumer Law, you're entitled to a replacement or refund for faulty products. If your item arrives damaged or defective:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos
  • We'll arrange a free return and provide a same product replacement or a full product refund
  • We cover all return shipping costs for faulty items

Safety Concerns

If you have any safety concerns about a product, contact us immediately. Your child's safety is our priority.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Opened toys (for hygiene and safety reasons)
  • Personalised or custom items
  • Gift cards
  • Sale or clearance items marked "final sale"
  • Items where proof of purchase can not be provided

How to Return

Email us at sendatoy@optusnet.com.au with your order number and reason for return. We'll provide return instructions.

Refunds

Once we’ve received and inspected your return, if approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. 
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact.

Exchanges 

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

We only exchange items (as opposed to refund or store credit) if the item is defective or faulty.

If you need to exchange an item for the same item due to a fault or defect, please contact Send A Toy to initiate the exchange.

If you wish to exchange an item for a different item, this is considered a change of mind return and our standard Change of Mind Return policy applies.

Shipping Charge Adjustments

If your order qualified for free shipping but your return brings the order total below our free shipping threshold, a standard $9.95 shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.

If you are returning your entire order that qualified for free shipping, a standard $9.95 shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.

Missing Returns

We do not guarantee that we will receive your return.

In the event that your returned parcel is lost in transit, a refund or store credit will not be issued unless valid proof of postage can be provided. For your peace of mind, we strongly recommend that you use a receipted (trackable) postage service to return the item.

For items returned using our Reply-Paid Return, a proof of lodgement receipt should be requested when lodging your parcel at the post office.
