HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY?

Free for orders with a goods total of $120 or more. A flat $8.95 delivery charge applies to orders under $120. This charge includes a signature on delivery, parcel tracking and transit insurance.

CAN MY ORDER BE SENT EXPRESS?

Yes. Orders not exceeding 5 kg are eligible for express shipping. The charge for this service is a flat $14.95. (If your order exceeds 5 kg express shipping  will not be displayed as a delivery option in checkout).

WHAT IF I AM NOT HOME FOR DELIVERY?

One delivery attempt will be made for all shipping. If no one is in attendance at the time of delivery, your parcel will be taken to your local post office for safe-keeping and collection within 14 days. A collection notification card will be left at your premises.

WHAT IF I FAIL TO COLLECT MY PARCEL WITHIN 14 DAYS?

If no one is in attendance at the time of delivery, your parcel will be taken to your local post office for collection within 14 days. If you do not collect your parcel it will be returned to Send A Toy. At this point you may request to have your parcel re-delivered to the same or a revised address.  The charge for our re-delivery service is $12.95. Alternatively we can cancel and refund your order (less our out-of-pocket postage/return postage expenses).

CAN I APPLY AN AUTHORITY TO LEAVE (ATL)?

All Send A Toy parcels require a signature on delivery.  An authority to leave without a signature can be applied, however, it will be at your own risk. In the event an authority to leave parcel is lost, stolen or damaged after delivery, Send A Toy will not provide compensation.

Important note:  An ATL instruction can only be set by following the "leave in a safe place" link that is included in your parcel tracking email or pending delivery text, sent to you by Australia Post once your parcel leaves Send A Toy. Requests for Send A Toy to add an ATL instruction on your behalf will be ignored.

WILL THE DELIVERY DRIVER PHONE AHEAD OF DELIVERY?

No. Send A Toy parcels are transited through the Australia post eparcel system and we are not able to request that drivers phone ahead of delivery. However, during checkout you will be given the option of linking a mobile number to your order to receive parcel tracking updates, including impending delivery notification via sms text.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Instructions left for Send A Toy requesting that we phone you prior to delivery will be ignored.

The following delivery standards apply from the time your parcel leaves Send A Toy. We do not dispatch on weekends or public holidays.

Disclaimer: occasionally delivery delays may occur as a result of our carrier, which we have no control over. Send A Toy will not be held liable for nor provide compensation for any delivery delays incurred.  

DO YOU OFFER SAME DAY DELIVERY?

No. However, we do offer a next business day delivery service. This is applicable to express orders placed before 11:00 am (Adelaide time) on a business day, and for delivery within the express post network.

I HAVE PROVIDED THE WRONG DELIVERY ADDRESS ... NOW WHAT?

Contact Send A Toy immediately as there is only a short window of opportunity to modify the address submitted on your order. If your parcel has already been manifested then we can not change the delivery address. In this instance your order will usually be returned to Send A Toy within 14 business days. Once your parcel arrives back at Send A Toy we can have it re-sent to a revised address. An $12.95 re-delivery fee will apply.  Alternatively you can cancel your order for a refund, less the actual freight charge that we incurred to post your order. If your order qualified for free delivery, the actual freight charge that we incurred to post your order will be deduct from your refund. (Send A Toy also incurs a returned freight fee. This fee is absorbed by Send A Toy and not passed onto the customer).

Important note: If your parcel is accepted at the incorrect address and not returned to Send A Toy, unfortunately it can not be retrieved by Send A Toy or Australia Post.  Send A Toy will not provide a refund or compensation for the lost goods.

I LIVE IN ADELAIDE - CAN I PICK-UP MY PARCEL?

No. We do not offer a click and collect or local pick-up service at this time.

CAN I SHIP MY ORDER TO AN INTERNATIONAL ADDRESS?

No. Due to the risks and costs associated with international freight, we no longer ship outside of Australia.  However, we gladly accept orders from international customers for delivery within Australia.

Yes. Express delivery is available for orders with a packed weight not exceeding 5 kilograms. The charge for this service is a flat $14.95, which includes parcel tracking, signature on delivery and parcel insurance.

If your order exceeds 5kg, express will not be displayed as a freight option during checkout.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY EXPRESS PARCEL TO ARRIVE?

Express orders placed before 11:00 am (Adelaide time) will leave Send A Toy same business day for delivery within 1-2 business days following dispatch (metro areas).

Express orders placed after 11:00 am (Adelaide time) will leave Send A Toy next business day for delivery within 1-2 business days following dispatch (metro areas).

EXCEPTIONS TO NOTE:

• Express orders sent to postcodes outside of metro areas may take longer than 1 - 2 business days to arrive.
• Express orders are not posted or delivered on weekends or public holidays.
• During extreme weather or fire events delivery of express orders may be delayed.
• During COVID-19  restrictions some delivery delays may occur.
• Occasionally delays occur as a result of our carrier, which we have no control over. Send A Toy will not be held liable for nor provide compensation for any delivery delays incurred.

HOW DO I PLACE AN EXPRESS DELIVERY ORDER?

Please proceed through our online checkout as normal. When our 'Shipping Methods' are displayed, select the Express Post option. If your order exceeds 5kg Express Post will not be displayed as a shipping option.

If you are sending your order as a gift, Send A Toy can gift wrap your purchase and include a gift message  free of charge. Your gift message will be printed on the packing slip. No pricing information will be included with the shipment. Alternatively you can purchase a gift card to include with your order.

Our quality gift wrapping is gender, occasion and age neutral. 

To have your purchase gift wrapped, simply select from the Gift Wrapping options that appear on every product page.  Your gift message can also be added via the product page.

Exceptions to note:

• Free gift wrapping is not available on some extra large or awkward shape products. Gift messages can be added to these items free of charge.

• A $2 gift wrapping surcharge applies if individual gift wrapping is required on items with a value under $10.  Items under $10 can be gift wrapped together with other items in your order at no charge.

• Orders containing only soft toys are usually shipped in a post bag. Please keep this in mind when using our free gift wrap service, as we do not guarantee the gift wrapping will be pristine when your parcel arrives.

When you send a gift with Send A Toy you can relax, knowing that receipts and price information will not be included.
