This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.sendatoy.com.au (the “Site”).

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

REMARKETING OR TARGETED ADVERTISING

Send A Toy does not engage in remarketing or targeted advertising techniques.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY?

FREE Australia wide delivery applies to all orders with a goods value of $100 or more. (Includes signature delivery and a traceable consignment number).

A flat $8.95 delivery charge applies to all Australian orders under $100. (This charge includes signature delivery and a traceable consignment number).

Express Post next business day* delivery is available for orders under 4kg. A flat $13.95 charge applies for this service. (If your order exceeds 4kg, express post will not be offered as a delivery option during checkout).

*Next business day delivery applies to express post orders placed before 11:00 am ACDT.  Express orders placed after 11:00am OR express orders being sent to a destination outside of the Australia Post express network usually take more than 1 business day to arrive.


WHAT IF I AM NOT HOME AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY?

Only one delivery attempt will be made for ALL shipping. If no one is in attendance at the time of delivery, your parcel will be taken back to your local post office for safe-keeping and collection. Any request for Authority to Leave without a signature will be at your own risk. In the event an authority to leave parcel is lost, missing or stolen, Send A Toy will not provide compensation.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  An Authority to Leave instruction can only be applied by following the "Leave in a  Safe Place" link in your parcel tracking email (sent to you by Australia Post once your parcel has left Send A Toy). Requests asking  Send A Toy to add an authority to leave instruction on your behalf will be ignored.

WILL THE DELIVERY DRIVER PHONE AHEAD OF DELIVERY?
Sorry, no. Send A Toy parcels are transited through the Australia Post Eparcel system and we are not able to request that drivers phone ahead of delivery. However, during checkout you will be given the option of linking a mobile phone number to your order to receive parcel tracking updates. If you opt to include your mobile number, you will receive an impending parcel delivery notification via SMS text.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Instructions left for Send A Toy requesting that we phone you just prior to delivery will be ignored.


CAN MY PARCEL BE DELIVERED TO A PO BOX?

HOW LONG WILL DELIVERY TAKE?

Your order will be posted within 24 hours, excluding weekends and South Australian Public holidays. Delivery times vary depending on your location, refer below for further details. (Express post orders placed before 11:00am ACDT will be dispatched same business day for a next business day delivery within the Australia Post express network).

Our delivery standards apply to regular post orders from the time they leave Send A Toy and are based on Australia Post's delivery guidelines and our experience. Occasionally delays may occur as a result of our carrier for which we have no control over. In these circumstances Send A Toy will not be held liable for or provide compensation for the delay or any resulting inconvenience. 

Please allow extra time for processing and delivery at peak Christmas times and extreme weather events.

DO YOU OFFER AN EXPRESS POST SERVICE?

Yes. Australian orders with a packed weight not exceeding 5 kilograms are eligible for express post. The charge for this service is a flat $13.95.

NOTE: if your order exceeds 5kg express post will not be offered as a freight option during checkout. In this instance please contact Send A Toy for an express freight quote.

Express post orders placed before 11:00am (ACDT) will arrive within 1 business day following order placement, excluding South Australian public holidays. (This delivery standard applies to postcodes within the Australia Post express network. Express orders placed after 11:00am ACDT, or sent to postcodes outside of the express network will usually take longer than 1 business day to arrive).

Disclaimer: occasionally delivery delays may occur as a result of our carrier, which we have no control over. In this instance a refund will be provided for the express delivery surcharge only (i.e. the difference between express and standard post). Send A Toy will not be held liable for or provide further compensation for any delivery delays incurred.  Delays resulting from an incomplete or incorrect address submitted with your order will not be compensated. Delays resulting from extreme weather events will not be compensated.

DO YOU OFFER A SAME DAY DELIVERY SERVICE?
Sorry, no.
However, we do offer a next business day delivery service. This is applicable to Express Post orders placed before 11:00 am on a business day. (Delivery postcode must be within the express post network for a next business day delivery).

I HAVE PROVIDED THE WRONG DELIVERY ADDRESS ... NOW WHAT?
Contact Send A Toy immediately. If your parcel has not been manifested we can change the address for you. Unfortunately if your parcel has already been manifested we can not change the delivery address. In this instance your parcel will usually be returned to us within 2 - 4 weeks. Once your parcel arrives back at Send A Toy we can have it sent to the revised address. Please note that you will be charged a $8.95 re-delivery fee. This fee applies regardless of whether your order initially qualified for free delivery as Send A Toy incurs freight charges on all returned parcels. Alternatively you can opt to cancel your order for a refund, less a $8.95 returned parcel delivery fee.

If your parcel is accepted at the incorrect address and not returned to Send A Toy, it can not be retrieved by Send A Toy or Australia Post.  Send A Toy will not provide a refund or compensation for the lost goods. 

I LIVE IN ADELAIDE - CAN I PICK-UP MY PARCEL?
Sorry no, we do not offer a local pick-up service.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

We currently ship to Australia and New Zealand only

A maximum packed weight of 2.5kg apples to New Zealand orders. If your order exceeds 2.5kg, the New Zealand freight option will not be displayed during checkout.

The following freight charges apply to New Zealand orders:

New Zealand Under 500g : $14.95 (estimated 6 - 10 business days)
New Zealand  500g - 1 kg: $18.95 (estimated 6 - 10 business days)
New Zealand  1.01 kg - 1.5 kg: $24.95 (estimated 6 - 10 business days)
New Zealand  1.51 kg - 2.5 kg: $29.95 (estimated 6 - 10 business days)

(Please note: New Zealand parcels are sent via registered international post with signature on delivery. End to end parcel tracking is not available on New Zealand consignments).

HOW DO I SEND MULTIPLE GIFTS TO DIFFERENT ADDRESSES?

DO YOU DELIVER ON SATURDAY'S?

Typically our parcel's are not delivered on Saturday's and a Saturday delivery can not be specifically requested. However, during peak periods such as Christmas Australia Post may deliver on Saturday's in selected metro areas.

DO YOU USE RECYCLED PACKING MATERIALS?
Presentation is important to us, however, in an effort to reduce waste and keep your delivery costs to a minimum we often reuse cartons, bubble wrap and other packaging materials when sending parcels. We also source and re-use cartons from local businesses.
