Flat $8.95 for orders under $150

CAN MY ORDER BE SENT EXPRESS?

Yes. The charge for our express delivery service:

FLAT $14.95 for parcels up-to a maximum weight of 5 kilograms.

(For express parcels over 5 kilograms the charge will be calculated in checkout based on weight).

Our express freight charges include signature on delivery (unless precluded by COVID-19 restrictions), parcel tracking and parcel transit insurance.

WHAT IF I AM NOT HOME FOR DELIVERY?

One delivery attempt will be made for all shipping. If no one is in attendance at the time of delivery, your parcel will be taken to your local post office for safe-keeping and collection within 14 days. A collection notification card will be left at your premises.

WHAT IF I FAIL TO COLLECT MY PARCEL WITHIN 14 DAYS?

If you do not collect your parcel within the allocated time frame it will be returned to Send A Toy. At this point you may request to have your parcel re-delivered to the same or a revised address.  The charge for our re-delivery service is $12.95. Alternatively we can cancel and refund your order (less our out-of-pocket postage/return postage expenses).

CAN I APPLY AN AUTHORITY TO LEAVE (ATL)?

All Send A Toy parcels require a signature on delivery.  An authority to leave without a signature can be applied, however, it will be at your own risk. In the event an authority to leave parcel is lost, stolen or damaged after delivery, Send A Toy will not provide compensation.

IMPORTANT NOTE:   An ATL instruction can only be set by following the "leave in a safe place" link that is included in your parcel tracking email or pending delivery text, sent to you by Australia Post once your parcel leaves Send A Toy. Requests for Send A Toy to add an ATL instruction on your behalf will be ignored.

WILL THE DELIVERY DRIVER PHONE AHEAD OF DELIVERY?

No. Send A Toy parcels are transited through the Australia post eparcel system and we are not able to request that drivers phone ahead of delivery. However, during checkout you will be given the option of linking a mobile number to your order to receive parcel tracking updates, including impending delivery notification via sms text.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Instructions left for Send A Toy requesting that we phone you prior to delivery will be ignored.

HOW LONG WILL DELIVERY TAKE?

Australia Post continue to experience delivery delays on some routes due to record parcel volumes and ongoing COVID-19 restrictions. Please allow an additional  1 - 2 days for your parcel to arrive.

The following parcel post delivery standards apply from the time your parcel leaves Send A Toy. We do not post orders on weekends or South Australian public holidays.

EXCEPTIONS TO NOTE:

  • Orders are not posted or delivered on weekends or public holidays.
  • During extreme weather or fire events delivery delays may occur.
  • During COVID-19  restrictions delivery delays may occur.
  • Occasionally delivery delays occur as a result of our carrier, which we have no control over. Send A Toy will not be held liable for nor provide compensation for any such delays incurred.

DO YOU OFFER SAME DAY DELIVERY?

No. However, we do offer an Express Delivery Service. Most parcels sent using our express service arrive within 1 - 2 business days following dispatch (2 -3 business days for no metro areas).

I HAVE PROVIDED THE WRONG DELIVERY ADDRESS ... NOW WHAT?

Contact Send A Toy immediately as there is only a short window of opportunity to modify the address submitted on your order. If your parcel has already been manifested then we can not change the delivery address. In this instance your order will usually be returned to Send A Toy within 14 business days. Once your parcel arrives back at Send A Toy we can have it re-sent to a revised address. A $12.95 re-delivery fee will apply.  Alternatively you can cancel your order for a refund, less the actual freight charge incurred by us to post your order. If your order qualified for free delivery, the actual freight charge that we incurred to post your order will be deduct from your refund. (Send A Toy also incurs a returned freight fee. This fee is absorbed by Send A Toy and not passed onto the customer).

Important note: If your parcel is accepted at the incorrect address and not returned to Send A Toy, unfortunately it can not be retrieved by Send A Toy or Australia Post.  Send A Toy will not provide a refund or compensation for the lost goods.

I LIVE IN ADELAIDE - CAN I PICK-UP MY PARCEL?

No. We do not offer a click and collect or local pick-up service at this time.

CAN I SHIP MY ORDER TO AN INTERNATIONAL ADDRESS?

No. Due to the risks and costs associated with international freight, we no longer ship outside of Australia.  However, we gladly accept orders from international customers for delivery within Australia.

HOW DO I SEND MULTIPLE GIFTS TO DIFFERENT ADDRESSES?

Please place separate orders online.

DO YOU DELIVER ON SATURDAY'S?

Typically our parcel's are not delivered on Saturday's and a Saturday delivery can not be specifically requested. However, during peak periods such as Christmas Australia Post may deliver on Saturday's in selected metro areas.

DO YOU USE RECYCLED PACKING MATERIALS?
Yes. Presentation is important to us, however, in an effort to reduce waste and keep your delivery costs to a minimum we often reuse cartons, bubble wrap and other packaging materials when sending parcels. We also source and re-use cartons from local businesses.

If you are sending your order as a gift, we are pleased to offer complimentary gift wrapping. Our free gift wrap is available on most products with the exclusion of sale items, some small / low value items and some large / awkward shape items.

You can also include a gift message, which will be printed on a gift packing slip, free of charge.

Alternatively you can purchase a greeting card to include with your order.

When you send a gift with Send A Toy you can relax knowing that receipts and price information will not be included.

(In the interest of our environment we gently request that you do not select gift wrapping if it is not necessary).
